New trophy indicate values:

• Bronze: 15
• Silver: 30
• Aureate: 90
• Platinum: 300

The just difference above is that platinum trophies are now worth more (300 points instead of 180). The values of statuary, silver, and gold trophies did not alter.

New trophy level adding:

Once again, the trophy level calculation is not a smooth curve, only rather has cut-offs. Hither is how it works:

• Levels 1 - 99: 60 points (4 bronzes) per level up
• Levels 100 - 199: 90 points (6 bronzes) per level up
• Levels 200 - 299: 450 points (30 bronzes) per level upward
• Levels 300 - 399: 900 points (60 bronzes) per level up
• Levels 400 - 499: 1350 points (90 bronzes) per level upwardly
• Levels 500 - 599: 1800 points (120 bronzes) per level upwardly
• Levels 600 - 699: 2250 points (150 bronzes) per level upwards
• Levels 700 - 799: 2700 points (180 bronzes) per level up
• Levels 800 - 899: 3150 points (210 bronzes) per level up
• Levels 900 - 999: 3600 points (240 bronzes) per level upwardly

If Sony had a scale where the meridian players weren't at the level cap, and then simply a select group of the most dedicated players on the planet would be higher up level 100 or so.

Updated for me in Republic of ireland; I had to go a trophy for information technology to change, though. From Level 27 to 397.

My new level is as arbitrary every bit the sometime level - it's just higher. Was 19 and now 318 or 319 thereabouts. My 10 Platinum's doing some work I guess. Just played xxx mins of Resi 7 and 3 Bronze trophies were enough to push me up a level - I had been on the end of Level 19 for years information technology felt like.

They should make it 999, then start on Paragon levels. Those being infinite.

Doesn't PSN Profiles substantially practice that for them? That site seems like it's still using the previous system but showing the summit players on levels that are impossible using that organisation, so I assume it's just computing what their level would exist if Sony hadn't capped it. I gauge they will continue to do that and the few hundred people that are afflicted by the caps can go in that location to encounter that without the caps they'd be level 3000 or whatever.

I'g level 350 now. Dunno what's the point of this change... is it just so you'll level upwards faster than before or is it something different entirely? Besides, according to the level status from the OP a level 350 should internet me the first silvery tier but where does information technology actually show this on my PlayStation dashboard?

the "cheating" satutation is not what this thread for, and for maxim "people have said" it's similar in that location is no proof, just talking.
i don't like thalking bad about people with no proof, if in that location a proof, and then a seperate thread should be opened.

They should allow you prestige, start you lot back at level 1, and then take all your trophies away.

But your number changes colour.
